Once upon a time, I bought a camera. It was a Canon Rebel 550D. Once I had this camera and read its manual, I thought to myself “Now I can take ‘Professional’ pictures”. How wrong I was

I soon learned that I had a lot more to learn if I wanted to become a professional photographer. I had to learn about the less obvious aspects like composition, lighting, retouching and subject interaction. I had to learn about marketing, price valuation and social media to make sure my business took off and stayed up

At the time, I had no mentor to teach me the things I needed to know. So I found my education online. I sought out resources from places like YouTube, CreativeLive, RGGEDU and read so many blogs. My work eventually hit a pinnacle, but it wasn't where I wanted it to be. So I sought out a professional photographer to be my mentor.

I eventually ended up paying for training sessions with portrait photographer Dani Diamond and this turned out to be the best spend ever.

Education to me is one of the best investments you can ever make for your business. If you are serious about your photography and your business, then educate yourself because you are your business. So sign up to our training program and take your photography to the next level.
